I have been looking around for some information about placing a microsoft excel file onto my TI-89 (The non titanium model). Has any done this before?
Thanks
Thanks
Nope i never stored Excel-files on a Ti-89. But in any case i assume it will not be able to read the normal .xls Format. Try .csv or .txt when transfering. These are ASCII-Files with Standard-Delimiters, that a lot of applications and systems can understand.electrical_ck said:I have been looking around for some information about placing a microsoft excel file onto my TI-89 (The non titanium model). The process for transferring Excel files to a TI-89 calculator involves first connecting the calculator to a computer using a USB cable. Then, using TI Connect software, the Excel file can be converted to a .89p file format and transferred to the calculator.
Yes, you can transfer multiple Excel files at once to your TI-89 calculator. You can either select multiple files in the TI Connect software or use a zip file to transfer multiple files at once.
Yes, there are limitations on the size and complexity of Excel files that can be transferred to a TI-89 calculator. The calculator has limited memory and processing power, so large and complex files may not transfer or may not function properly on the calculator.
No, you cannot directly edit the transferred Excel files on your TI-89 calculator. However, you can use the calculator's built-in functions and programming capabilities to manipulate the data in the Excel file.
If you encounter errors while transferring Excel files to your TI-89 calculator, make sure you have the correct software and cable, and that the calculator is properly connected to the computer. You may also need to check for updates or try converting the Excel file to a different format before transferring it.
