What is the Physics of Reflections on Semi-Permeable Surfaces?

In summary, the physics of reflections on semi-permeable surfaces involves the principles of optics and diffusion. When light hits a semi-permeable surface, some of it is transmitted through while the rest is reflected. The amount of light that is transmitted or reflected depends on the transparency of the surface, the angle of incidence, and the properties of the material. Diffuse reflections occur when light hits a rough surface and bounces off in multiple directions, resulting in a blurred image. Understanding the physics of reflections on semi-permeable surfaces is important in various fields, such as architecture, photography, and material science.

Greetings,
I'm currently reading The Strange Theory of Light and Matter by Richard Feynman and thinking about reflections of light by semi-permeable surfaces.
Also, I'm not sure about the Big Bag Theory hehe
