In summary, a retired physicist may still be interested in tensors, which are mathematical objects used to describe the relationship between physical quantities. These objects are widely used in the field of physics, particularly in the study of relativity and electromagnetism. A retired physicist may continue to explore the applications of tensors in their free time, as they provide a powerful tool for understanding complex physical systems. Overall, tensors remain a fascinating topic for retired physicists looking to continue their passion for the field.
